KENYAN EDUCATION IS THE BIGGEST JOKE
Many parents are tirelessly pushing their biceps up and down trying to bring cash in their pockets so that they can pay school fees for their children. Interestingly, Kenyan education has turned out to be the biggest scandal which is smuggling money from the parents to government "unfilled bag"or even few individual stomachs.
As i write this, i am not looking forward to getting likes and comments but i want to nail the problem on the head. I am aware of so many fellow students who studied to the completion of O level but yet they cannot even spell the word cow. I also know hundreds of my fellow village mates who dropped out form 2-3 and yet they cannot even read a heading in the newspaper and understand whether the story will talk about an accident or politics. In short, they are as uninformed as those our dear Zinjanthropus in the old Stone Age who did not know they existed.
I also know my fellow high school members who cannot even manage to put a signature on a sheet of paper, they are simply "thick" ( am sorry) and should not have wasted a hundred and twenty dollars as school fees for education which was not meant to help them

Solution
I would wish CS for Education Mr. Matiangi to reconsider decision of making school compulsory but should offer some other causes within the school program such as knitting, farming, drawing( I mean art) etc which should equip young people with innovative minds rather that ABCD which we are currently reading and ending up being as stupid as our unlearned friends
Moreover, school fees should be paid in phases with the last bit being paid by only those who pass exams. This will significantly control reluctance of teachers as they as we speak cares less of what the students score. I pity those students who pay a fee balance of over 20k only to be handed a certificate carrying D- which disqualifies them even to stand in as Cattle dips managers.
As many will find this irrelevant, i am looking forward to helping parents realize that sending their children to school is very different from sending them to get Education.
Just a trial before i write what is ailing kenya
