It was a day like no other when the young and energetic young men met one on one at the University of Embu’s grounds. It was an enticing match with remarkable eye capturing action packed total football pitting University of Embu’s Microbiology Department led by their Captain Magak (No.6) and their international Coach Mbugua Muigai Vs another invited team from Embu College.

The Match was organized and Sponsored by a group of  3^rd year Comrades namely Kenson Lumumba, Kiplagat Kibet Haron, George Ambege Alis Slim, Kenson Njiru and Chegee among others. The match was commissioned by an international referee as it has attracted talent as far as Tharakanithi County (Chuka University).

First half was an action-packed arena with both teams showing their might. Notably, Joel, Jeff, Charles, and Duncan Muthengi (Captioned below) were outstanding as Number 5, 3, 2 and Keeper positions respectively. 

The Goalkeeper. 

On the left wing, Dr. Pamayrean showed his undoubtable skills with mouth-watering tik taks. Both teams had strong forwards with Nyenjeri as No.11 and Alex (No 9) showing their undisputed skills.

The second half witnessed massive over whole changes for both teams with to give enough playing space for the new talents who were impatiently warming the bench. It was just a matter of time before the absence of subbed Number 4 (Kiarie) and Number 11 (Nyenjeri) for the University team could be felt since the visiting team scored 3 quick goals to take the day.

The winning team was treated with a sack of Glucose and price money amounting to 3000 from the Sponsors who added up as the Members of the technical bench. The repeat of the game will be arranged at a later date.
