Referee Was a Player for one Side-Dr. Roselyne Akombe on Why She Quit IEBC
Dr. Roselyne Akombe, the IEBC Spokesperson who quit her office weeks before the 2018 Presidential Election Re-run spoke exclusively to akilimkwasi.blogspot.com on the reasons why she left her job at a very critical election stage. She authoritatively supported her decision to quit her position in the disputed IEBC at when the country needed her the most.
Through her Twitter account, Dr. Akombe stated that her belief was the main reason she had to resign her position. She was responding to a tweep who had accused her of deliberately putting the nation in a dark corner insinuating to stop the elections by sabotaging the ability of IEBC to conduct the highly contested elections.
Defending her position, Dr Akombe stated that it is important to believe in something even if it means sacrificing everything. When she was asked what she believed in, she categorically said that she wanted to work in a leveled ground free from external forces. Here, Dr. Akombe insinuated that IEBC was not independent but rather worked under the instructions from the external forces, probably the Executive.

“A level playing ground where all players have a fair chance and a referee, is a referee, and not one who is playing for one said, whether willingly or unwillingly....”
IN a heated debate that followed this conversation, many Kenyans were in support of Dr. Roselyne Akombe’s decision to quit on the grounds that IEBC was not independent and the playing field was not leveled for everyone. Some of the Key Kenyans who conquered with Dr. Akombe included Makueni Senator, Dr. Mutula Kilonzo Jr.

Excellent answer
Great response. We hope he is satisfied. Let him remember that to date, Uhuru Kenyatta, through the NIS and other state organs, has put IEBC under strict orders not to dare open the server or do an Audit of the equipment. We don't forget. One day, We The People shall open them
