WOMEN GOVERNORS ELECTED IN THE 2022 GENERAL ELECTIONS

Kenyans have elected 7 women governors in the 2022 general election compared to ONLY 3 in the 2017 general election. 

Here is the list of these governors and their personal traits.

1.      Fatuma Achani	Kwale	Little is known about her but she has defied the social norm to vie and win in a county that is dominated by the community that promotes male patriarchy
2.      Anne Waiguru	Kirinyaga	Strategist, a Worker, and brainy. She is the brain behind HUDUMA CENTRES
3.      Kawira Mwangaza	Meru	Staunch Christian.
4.      Wavinya Ndeti	Machakos	Appears calm, collected, and relaxed and her work reflects a very smart lady.
5.      Gladys Wanga	Homabay	It has never happened in that part of Kenya for a woman to lead men as a governor. Wanga is brave and a fighter.
6.      Susan Kihika	Nakuru	She is a fireball. How her husband manages to contain her is mysterious.
7.      Cecily Mbarire	Embu	She is strong in all facets. I hope she is prepared to face 100s of court cases because Embu is known for its disrespect t for the office of the Governor.
