Anne Waiguru with a Stun Message to Wangui Ngirici after Beating her Pants Down in Kirinyaga Gubernatorial Race

After Anne Waiguru successfully defended her seat in Kirinyaga, she sent a stun warning to her fierce competitor Wangui Ngirici who came the close second in a tightly contested race. Speaking after winning the race and being declared the winner by the County Returning Officer, Waiguru claimed that Ngirici should calm her nerves and wait for 5 years. She said her focus was to work for the people of Kiringaya now that the electioneering period is over.

Waiguru's win came after claims of rigging were raised by both camps, with Waiguru the first one to claim rigging by Wangui Ngirici's team. In response, Ngirici downplayed the rigging claims telling Waiguru to accept the results. 

 “The only back door that we know was at NYS during your tenure. TUPO SITE!” Ngirici responded. 

 Probably, Waiguru was using reverse psychology on Wangui Ngirici and she fell straight into the trap because hours later, it was Wangui's turn to claim about rigging and even demand through her lawyer, Ndegwa Njiru a recount of the declared votes in Ndia constituency.

It was Waiguru who had the last laugh after the votes were counted.
