NTSA Logo The Government of Kenya through the National transport and NTSA Security Agency, NTSA, is contemplating to introduce a ‘crazy’ law to curb the menace of drunk driving. In a new measure to discourage drinking while driving, washing corpses in the Mortuaries will be the punishment if accepted as a law. Thinking about visiting a mortuary full of dead people is terrifying hence washing these dead bodies will definitely cause discourage drivers from drinking. The increase in the number of accidents in the roads have contributed to measures being embraced including jailing, use of Alco blow and fining which all have failed to effectively eliminate this vice of driving while drunk. However, some lawyers, including Mr.Njiru from Kirinyaga have vowed to challenge the law terming it as inhuman.

HE: WamboraUniveristy of Embu Grounds Reports have emerged that the County Government of Embu is planning to start their own Radio Station. This comes after the county assembly passed the names of the County Executive Cabinets who were proposed by the Govonor Hon. Martin   Nyaga Wambora.  One of the County officials who sought anonymity stated that the plans were at the preliminary stages and they were interested in conducting wider consultations and feasibility studies before launching the plan officially.   “We believe that the radio Station will act as a unifying factor between the two main groups in Embu County namely the Mbeere people of Embu South and the Embu community.” He Stated.   “Moreover, the county government insinuates to collect massive revenues from the operations of this Radio station.”   It should be remembered that County Government of Nyandarua, Muranga and Nakuru have previously shown the same interest.
