Another University Summons Student Leader to Disciplinary After Disagreeing Over Fee Penalties
Days after Meru University’s Student leader was shot and killed in cold blood after protesting fee increment, the University of Embu Council is now on the SPOT. This is after a letter leaked to akilimkwasi.blogspot.co.ke from the Office of DVC summoning a student leader to appear before the disciplinary committee.
As quoted in the letter, this student leader, who we shall keep anonymous pending his case tomorrow, is accused of threatening to call for a strike after the schools introduced a penalty of 3000 shillings to those who would late in fee payments. Most students have been displeased with the penalties which they term too heavy for the most students who have the most humble background.

However, this is seen as a move to stop the leader from aspiring leader a chance to contest in the upcoming university elections. A word has it that some aspiring leaders too contesting in the same election might have contributed in the selling out of their fellow comrade.
